Have you been devastated by fire from harvesting pulse and legume crops?

January 6, 2017 Have you been devastated by fire from harvesting pulse and legume crops?

Maybe you have seen the results of various brands of harvesters igniting fires from the dust and straw of pulses and legumes such as lentils, chickpeas, and vetch. No particular brand of harvester, combine harvester or header seems to be exempt from the billowing smoke and flames that result from this occurrence.

We have seen many machines, John Deere, Case, New Holland, Cat, Class, Massey Ferguson and Gleaner; just to name a few, all provide ignition points for these devastating incidents.

Although the jury is out as to whether these fires are started by static electricity or the dust settling on the exhaust pipe igniting and then dropping and starting the fire in places where more dust has accumulated, the fact still remains, that if you keep the dust from settling in any of these places it will prevent from igniting.

Horsham Hydraulics has the solution for you. By Installing a blower system ducted to the vital parts of the machine like the exhaust manifold, turbo, battery area and other points of build-up.

Utilizing existing hydraulics on the machine to drive a Smallaire blower fan ducted to the various parts of the machine with nozzles specifically designed to prohibit the dusts from settling.

All kits come with speed controllable fan, 6 outlet manifold, 20 metres of air hose ducting, 6 outlet nozzles, and options available for full hydraulic hose kit, fan mounting brackets, rpm counter, electronic controls and more outlets.
